if you have core2 duo's running 24/7 even at stock ( it really is a shame not to clock them ) then it would definately be better to run a SMP client on each duo. You would then possibly be looking at 3000 to 4500 points per day. The other option assuming you have an e6xxx series is to run a linux SM...

Hi miss parker, have you checked your FAHlogs to see whether some WU's have terminated early /crashed and then a new WU been downloaded as this could account for the single digit point scores. q6600 overclocked to 2.8Ghz , gigabyte ga-73pvm-s2h mobo,2GB kingston 1.8v ram running a windows SMP client which is the one having the problem. Also running a Linux SMP VM. had another coreshutdown at 65% but it restarted itself without going into the download new coree loop. The WU has now completed and uploaded and i'll see if theres any problems with the new WU its running now.

Thanks Bruce, Its certainly interesting to know what happens to a WU after it departs back to the servers.
