With all other things equal, like cache? That could make a difference too.o is a really fast dual better than a slower quad? What about a 4GHz dual against a quad-core 2.4GHz?

Even if you could run it on a p4 nortwood, it would take so much longer it will have no value when it gets back. Again, you should read that quote again. basically i have had ONE single finished unit out of 18 WU, 1 is still going I had a 8400GS that eue'd with most everything, until I installed ntune and dropped the clock speed a little bit on the card. That card does have a sorry excuse for a gpu cooler on it though, so I think it was just getting...

I noticed that on fahinfo.org that the penryn is getting a much higher score than conroe on the same 4521 WU 124.97 /ghz vs 74.14 /ghz. Differences between RCG? Bus speed? Radix-16 divider at work? Fluke? It's only 1 penryn score so who knows, but more evidence will come eventually.

Once they projects appear on psummary, they'll automatically be added to fahinfo.org Oops, I actually meant to add your cpu times. I should have been more clear. I see some Intels on fahinfo.org for 4521 and 4519. I have one 4521 on an older athlonxp 1500 that I threw up there as well. As everyone gets these units, can you add to the database?
