Re: Possibility to make hardware donations/gifts to PG
That is correct, but I'm not talking only about server class hardware or used items. Donors could send desktop hardware as well, to be used in ordinary machines that do every day's paperwork. Or the donated items could be stored by the PG as spare. There are a lot of circumstances. I personally boug...

Possibility to make hardware donations/gifts to PG
Would it be possible for someone to send hardware to support the PG instead of money? I'm sure we all have spare hardware items we can't/don't use anymore. So, why leave them inactive? Ideally, the PG could issue, let's say, once a month a list with their needs in hardware and whoever sees in that l...

Re: Team FTL
@bruce PM sent, but i'm not sure if you have received it. It is stuck in my "outbox" folder. If he downloaded something from the internet just before he noticed the changes or entered some data into an on-line page somewhere, we'd be interested in knowing what it was. (Don't post the link....

Re: Team FTL
A question for people more experienced than me. Don't know for sure if the issue is related or not to this team's activity, but it is pretty strange. One of my teammates reported to the team's forum an erratic behavior of his GPU client. Here's the sequence of events as narrated to me: 1)the client ...

Re: A giant has come to our shores. 40 Million PPD
I noticed one strange thing about their production. Team 24h average: 31.682.054, total users: 1, User 24h average: 16.777.215 :!: http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_list.php?s=&t=213904 How could this be possible? Both numbers should have been identical. Oh, well, maybe their productio...

Re: Getting to many points????
There you go. There's a good idea. Let's all start a point trading system, just to shuffle things around. We can be all like "Hey I've got a GTX 580, let's start the auction at 450k" :D Anyone interested in my 950? Thats OK I am short about 500,000 you can have them. Thank you Grand...

Re: Getting to many points????
I also confirm i have received many more points than expected. During the outage i completed one P6901, three or four normal SMP WUs and less than ten GPU WUs. No extra large ones (P6903, P6904) were completed (they were all under process). I was expecting a total credit of about 130-140K and yester...
