Re: Keep missing deadline
..it might be worth it to fold an extra hour or two on Fridays to finish up the WUs you have. But that means staying in the office longer on a Friday afternoon when I want to go home and start the weekend! I will try an older client at some point and let you know how I get on. Otherwise, I think yo...

Re: Keep missing deadline
Since you are not really interested in folding more, may I suggest that you just go back to the "normal" WU's to see if that eliminates getting those short deadline A4's and instead get those old traditional core_78's more, for they have much longer deadlines (30-60 days typically). I've ...

Re: Keep missing deadline
P5-133XL's suggestions are along the lines of what I was going to say. You may have some background task gumming up the works, but to not finish something with a one-month deadline... maybe the computer is going to sleep? Otherwise, you really don't have it turned on that much of the time after all...

Re: Keep missing deadline
I know, I know, it's crazy isn't it? I've being doing this for years and it's only recently that this has started happening. No, there is no screen saver running and no, my laptop never sleeps ( I don't trust sleeping or hibernating). How should I post the logs? Should I just copy and paste the last...

Re: Keep missing deadline
Hello watty1964, welcome to the forum. The obvious answer is to fold more time each day, or to fold more days per week. And to make sure the laptop is plugged in (not on battery) as much as possible so the laptop runs at full speed. Without knowing more about your hardware, or which client you are ...

Keep missing deadline
I process units for approximately 7 hours per day, 5 days per week on my laptop.
90% of the time, the unit's deadline passes before it is completed.
How can I avoid this?
