No single core CPU units?
Hello everyone. I seem to be having no luck receiving work for the CPU slot. My GPU is crunching away happily though so I know it is not a communication error per say on my end. My CPU is a core2duo under Arch Linux. 20:08:10:WARNING:WU02:FS00:Failed to get assignment from '171.67.108.45:8080': Empt...

Re: Core21 upgrade from 0.0.11 to 0.0.12 and now many fauls.
Do you know exactly which card is failing ? Yes it's the older Cayman XT card which is failing it's WU since the core21 upgrade. It's since got a core17 WU and is working fine now. Driver version is catalyst 15.7. Side note: AMD Hawaii (as detected by folding at home software) is actually a r7 240....

Core21 upgrade from 0.0.11 to 0.0.12 and now many fauls.
Everything was working great for a couple of months under Arch Linux with both core17 and core21 (v0.0.11) however since Core21 upgraded from version 0.0.11 to 0.0.12 and now I have many faulty projects. Log as follows: 08:30:14:WU02:FS00:Connecting to 171.67.108.45:80 08:30:15:WU02:FS00:Assigned to...

Re: Can't upload to Work server: 171.64.65.98
Stanford assumes some kind of an upload bit-rate and a typical upload file size, leading to a maximum upload duration (generally of 15 minutes). Anything that takes longer than that is assumed to be a hung connection and the server does abort the connection. In some cases, projects generate unexpec...

Re: Can't upload to Work server: 171.64.65.98
What is your connection upload speed I was just looking at that. My upload speed is ~6 MB/sec and my download speed is ~30 MB/sec. BUT not on my folder. For some reason my tx rate was 1 Mbit/Sec as reported by iw. Don't know why normal things download/upload quickly from that machine (for instance ...

Re: Can't upload to Work server: 171.64.65.98
artoar_11 is right, 15 minutes is a time out on the server side. Thanks artoar_11 and toTOW. I totally missed that 15 minute between errors. Now I know why I was getting cut off. Thanks again. I will look again into why my bandwidth is so slow to your severs. I did check and everything else is fast...

Can't upload to Work server: 171.64.65.98
I'm having trouble uploading my results. Everything here appears to be working fine here (web browsing over WiFi, router, cable modem) all check out. Could someone please check out the work server 171,64.65.98? I searched the forum but didn't find and current reports of problems. 04:11:13:WARNING:WU...

Re: [Arch Linux] Very low PPD
I too have this problem. My solution (so far) has been to drop out of X and fold from the command line. Strange but works great. One thing I did notice, and don't know what to make of, if that under X with fahcontrol I was seeing progress on my GPU slot but nothing from core_17 or core_21 in the log...

Re: Core 21 System Requirments?
AFAIK, 64 bit Windows (newer than XP) NV 350.xx drivers or newer, AMD 14.9 drivers or newer That may be the problem. Running Windows Vista 64bit with AMD version 13.4 right now with version 13.12 the latest availiable. Don't know why but AMD seems to have stopped supporting Vista but is still suppo...
