Re: Running Multiple Clients (Intel i7 x990 12 CPUs)
@k1wi, with -smp 10 set, does that mean it is going to complete 10 WUs at the same time?
I am currently at 87% since I started the SMP console client.
Also, I am using my same user name but I added a passkey with the SMP client, will my stats be found in the same location?

Re: Running Multiple Clients (Intel i7 x990 12 CPUs)
I am afraid I do not recall that option or at least I don't recall seeing BIGADV specifically. I do know that I was prompted to choose Small, Normal, or Big file-sizes and I did input Big. The following is from the SMP Install Guide that I followed to the letter... Acceptable size of work assignment...

Re: Running Multiple Clients (Intel i7 x990 12 CPUs)
How do I run bigadv? I set the small/normal/big setting to Big when configuring my client.

Re: Running Multiple Clients (Intel i7 x990 12 CPUs)
Ok, so I checked in and saw that my Console version was erroring when trying to return the WU it had completed and then it couldn't retrieve a new WU to work on. So no progress was made. Removed all F@H instances from my PC and went with the SMP route. I just completed the setup and it is now runnin...

Re: Running Multiple Clients (Intel i7 x990 12 CPUs)
Ok, after this last update I see that I have 511 Score, 3 WUs returned and 2 Active Clients. I am guessing 1 of my 4 Console Clients was finally working or at least contacting the server as well as my GPU client. I have uninstalled the V6 GPU Client and deleted all but 1 Console Client folders. I wi...

Re: Running Multiple Clients (Intel i7 x990 12 CPUs)
Alright so @ bruce, I did change my GUI Machine ID at one point to get them in order, because it defaulted to 2 (not 1, as the FAQs suggests) and I want my GUI to be #1 and the Consoles to be IDs 2,3,4,5 respectively. This may be why it reported 2 different Machine ID's when the WUs were returned. F...

Running Multiple Clients (Intel i7 x990 12 CPUs)
Hi, I am very interested in running multiple Console versions of this client and I read as much as I could understand about how to achieve this on the FAQ but it does not seem to be reflecting on my User Statistics, it only reports 1 Client Active when I tried to have 1 GUI and 4 Console clients run...
