I have discovered a workaround, adding the kernel parameter "vsyscall=emulate" seems to fix the problem.

Ever since upgrading the kernel to 4.15 core a4 WUs have stopped working (core a7 still work). The WU doesn't error out but is interrupted and restart, hence making no progress. Basically its a game where you try and solve a protein 'puzzle' to predict a proteins structure.
Its more similar to Rosetta than Folding but it has more of a human thing than a cpu thing(Am i unclear?)

Ive crunched a few projects on BOINC, but always seem to come back to Folding for two reasons. First of all it does not have a quorum....not all BOINC projects have but most do.(IIRC wcg has a quorum of 15!!!)
