Linux Help!
I installed the .deb on my Linux Mint machine. Rebooted. CPU is maxed out! Hotter n hell!! I have no program group, icon or anything to turn the damn thing off!! What did I miss?!?!

Damn Windows Update
Have a 63K WU at 2 hours to completion. I went to watch a movie on Dish, come back in 2 hours to check on it and Windows has downloaded and installed some update and rebooted my box! Of course, it auto boots Ubuntu, so I still have 2 hours to go! grrrr!!

I'm using CoreTemp. By positioning my room fan on the open side I've gotten it down to 75C now. I also turned off hardware acceleration in FireFox and that solved my video lag problem.

A service does, in fact, support team numbers. What's never clear is how to change the configuration of a service once it has been started. Stop the service. Run the same interactive client that you used originally to configure the service (with -configonly) and make the change. Restart the service...

I created a team and entered the number in my client.cfg but when I check later it's not there, not saving or disappearing. How to enter team number using SMP2 console client as service?

It's got an nVidia GTS240 1024 card in it. I tried the GPU client but don't like the slowdown of my display...... any way to make it not noticeable? Yes, I have a passkey and am using it. My system is an Intel Core i7 870 @ 2.93ghz 64-bit Win7 12gb mem. I installed the beta SMP2 as a service with -smp and big switches. Taking just under 7 hours per unit after 4 WU's.
