why vm and not native linux ?

I very seriously doubt that a 2600K will run them they have said 12 core minimum.

isnt that the same with current bigadv, required 8 threads cpu and successfully folded on x6 amd ?

super oced 2600K can match 12 threads cpu mid oc performance.

4.8ghz 2600K =~ 3.6ghz 980x ?

I can feel your pain. I have 2 sr2 they all can not get bigadv.
Probably need to shutdown to save electric, while AS out of commission.

no worries, this has happened in the past and all points were restored properly.
