Sorry for your loss JCM3500!
But for Alzheimers you can continue folding, there is enough to crunch.

Re: Why are you folding?
Hi all. Science is a usualy long process, but there is a lot of similar things going on in several disease. The approach in techniques can be learned from eachother inresearch for most important diseases, so yes all mentionned above is true. I am impatient for a cure for Huntington's, as others are ...

Re: Huntington's?
Jesse, Never realised that was already discussed so widespread on the forum (was away a while) and yes sure you are right with you conclusion, but for me it is all about MOTIVATION to fold, for getting people involved in all the diseases. I (56) think everybody's goal is to try to solve all and I do...

Re: Why are you folding?
7im, I am in it for the longterm too, but prefer a bit of speed for HD families, call it impatience and you'r absolutely right! Rome was not build in one day either and all families deserve solutions or hope for their problems. And yes it takes time, we cann't afford, losing your wife at it in 2002 ...

Re: Huntington's?
Dear Jesse and Jonasz, Ofcourse I was aware about what was going on at FAH, however not of the progress of the actual last project. My knowledge goes further than HD and I realise there are a lot of diseases connected with eachother research wise. The main problem is to MOTIVATE people, to put on th...

Re: Why are you folding?
Because I thought it could contribute much to research for HD (Huntington's Disease), but feel a bit dasapointed so far.

Re: Huntington's papers and research in general
Dear FAH Management, For many years (8 to be precise) I have lead a team in respect to contribute to research for HD and other diseases. I translated almost the whole FAH website into Dutch in 2008 to help to get some more new folders. I doubt if the attention for HD is big enough at Stanford, but m...

Re: Huntington's Disease
Is there any project for Huntington's at the moment??
It would be nice to know if there is a schedule for projects in general.
Of course we fold to help science overall.

Re: Huntington's Disease

That's true I am not only interested in my own family problem, but also in the other diseaeses ,beside that there are the simu...
