SMP Crash - Core A4 and Project: 11293 (Run 5, Clone 91, Gen 11)
I am having the same issue, again. I formatted and reinstalled windows just to see if there was something installed that was causing it. With minimal drivers (video & networking drivers only) & software installed it still crashes. Here is the event Viewer data: Faulting application name: Fah...

Nope, I had not see or read that. I just did a search for the IP address... Thanks for answering that.

171.64.65.102 Rejecting completed work units
My clien (the latest beta) appears to be stuck. It cannot upload it's completed workunit for project 5734 to the WS server 171.64.65.102, so for it has made 14 attempts to upload it. As a result of not being able to upload the work unit it will not download another work unit and move on. Here is the...

Re: 171.64.65.102
I used the System Info tab, Expert interface mode.
As for the system information in the log, there was nothing there. I just checked again, still no system information there.

Re: 171.64.65.102
From what I've heard, this will not be fixed until morning, California time, and will probably take longer than that. Are you being assigned work from another server? Please post your log, including the system description at the top and representative error messages after that. Sorry about putting ...

171.64.65.102
I don't see this being reported anywhere else so here goes. The server located at 171.64.65.102 has been rejecting work units since 16:15:10 today (Saturday). This is affecting GPU work units using V7 client.

Re: How can I...
Given the title of this thread I think I will post my question here: How can I tell when I first signed up with F@H? I know the data has to be hiding somewhere...

Perhaps we should rename this thread "Features we would like to see."

Re: Answers to: Reasons for not using F@H.
I agree 7im; Folding@Home has come a long way and I look forward to it going a lot further. I would love to see F@H fully support both SLI and CrossFireX. I hope that this is a feature being worked on in the next update, it might be away to get more performance out of OpenCL but I don't know that fo...

Re: Universal Client
A problem I see with a universal client that optimizes for you is that some folders will not want 'optimization' for various reasons. How will the server recognize other factors like environmental heat issues, internet connectivity, other uses you may have planned or such local issues as poweroutag...

Re: Universal Client
We are moving to eventually have a universal client. Our v7 client will be our first step, but it will take a while to get all the way there. Our goal is to make it easy for people to donate computer time, but there are several new developments which have to be done to get there. WoHoo!!! Looking f...

Re: Answers to: Reasons for not using F@H.
Work duplication in most BOINC project is definitely a waste of resources for me ... it's a shame since their projects are interesting, but for me, and I assume for a lot a fellow folders, the uniqueness of result in FAH is a major point that made us decide to fold ... P.S : this forum is about FAH...

Re: Answers to: Reasons for not using F@H.
7im; I also have to disagree with that serious attempt comment. Fah, being the world record holder for the most powerful distributed computing project, is always a serious contender. They have chosen to do one type of molecular simulation, and do it very well. Where as Boinc has tried to be some thi...

Re: Answers to: Reasons for not using F@H.
David, I think you just hit the nail on the head. The fact is these researchers are concerned with science, not user friendliness and they are not concerned with the human motivations, specifically competitiveness. While I don’t see real-time reporting as a huge issue, I also acknowledge that it is ...
