Re: 128 threads and low PPD
Thanks for the feedback guys.
Is there anyway to opt out of receiving those work units on systems with more than 64-threads? Other than using scripts to abort the tasks if they're downloaded.

128 threads and low PPD
A friend of mine on my team is running some CPU work on his big rigs and has experienced some issues with a8. He has 128 threads and a7 will scale to utilize all threads on the system while a8 will only use 64 threads. Is this by design? A bug? Bad configuration? FahCore_a7 scales easily to 128 thre...

Re: Stats not updating?
I wish they were more reliable. I mean I know they don't go down often, but I use the stats to keep track of my boxen. If I see something not right with my stats then I immediately think something is wrong on my end and I start trying to figuring out the problem is which in most cases it's a crashed...

Re: Stats not updating?
Seems the stats are indeed down again. Their web site hasn't show an update since:

Re: Not downloading core package
My Linux box started picking up units sometime last night as well. I didn't do anything to it so I am assuming they fixed the issue on their end.

Re: Not downloading core package
Did it download Core21 units? After reading your comment I did the same, but I am getting the same error.

Re: All WU's fail on GTX 970
I'm not sure I am following your suggestion. I downloaded the drivers from Nvidia. Got 376.33. 376.48 and 373.06 all downloaded from Nvidia in that order. All failed. I used DDU as a last resort to try 373.06 one last time, but it resulted in the same result. According to MSI Afterburner I currently...

All WU's fail on GTX 970
I've been folding on this rig for a while now without any issues. Recently did a fresh install of Windows 7 Pro on a new SSD and I am having all kinds of issues. First I installed the latest Nvidia drivers. I think they're 376.33. Had issues, so did some Googling to find the hot fix drive for the 10...

Re: Nvidia Pascal GPU cards???
Well nevermind. I think I figured out the problem. One of the cards is sitting in an x1 slot. Didn't realize it wasn't a full x8 or x16 slot even though it's physically an x16 slot. Time to move it to another rig.

Re: Nvidia Pascal GPU cards???
Is it normal for 1080s to go as low as 300K PPD and as high as 900K PPD? Mine seem to average about 500K PPD throughout the day. Is this normal?

Re: WARNING ! Do not upgrade to 375.xx drivers.
All seems to be somewhat well. Reverted back to 373.06 and it's currently crunching on an x21 at 550k PPD, but that number is still rising.

Re: WARNING ! Do not upgrade to 375.xx drivers.
Nevermind, I didn't realize Nvidia kept older drivers for download on their site.
