After 2 breakdown's in the last 24h I'm back on Vista. It just freezes. And no contact with PC is possible. Have to pull the plug to get started again.

Tested Gpu folding on Windows 7 x64 vs Vista x64. No problem installing W7 on a differen parision on my PC. Its automaticly sets up dual boot. No problems staring up old Vista or New W7. RivaTuner and FahMon works fine. No problem innstalling multi GPU following Vitsa guide. My 2 9800GX2's giving 20...

Sadly, with Windows XP there is no viable way to mix GPU clients and CPU clients onto the same core. The reason for this is that both the CPU and the GPU FAH cores use busy waiting while synchronizing with the other CPU cores or with the GPU, respectively. Hi again. Thanx for the new version, it's super :D Now I have rebuilt one of my computers. It's the XP with Q6600 CPU, now with 2x9800GX2 cards. So I have 4 GPU clients and a SMP. I have tried putting all GPU folding to CPU3 and SMP on the 3 others. This give me ok result on SMP , but I loose app. 3...

Mee too, also got 2*9800GX2 on same special offer as theo343. Just 250$ (1/2 price i Norway) for a XFX card was to hard to resist.

Nice. Restarted all 7 GPU's now. Got 5506 and 5800 wu's. Hopfully this ends 4 days of low folding due to server problems.

Both do not fold at all. Same error at same place for these. Edit: Now also on R4,C125,G0 and you can add 3-4 other P5801 I have tried now. Hi again. Yes the Vista machine is atm. dedicated to folding only and I had no special settings for this machine before. And it's ok that it didn't work at first try. Rome was not built in one day. You are doing a superb job. :D I thinking that maby Vista is making the best balansing of work it self...

Starting it up now. Will post if there is any change in total ppd for this PC.
EDIT : Starting up PC2 with the 4th variant also.
Results after 2h run.
PC1, no change in PPD.
PC2, on CPU ppd lost 300 and on GPU1 lost 100p. Total ppd lost 400 points.
Shutting down for now.
